From 27th to 28th September 2017 the Berlin-Britain Research Network will host the interdisciplinary conference Audit UK: Social, Political, and Cultural Challenges in the Light of Brexit at the Centre for British Studies. The conference will discuss the disintegrative developments in British society and the social, cultural and political implications of Brexit.
The conference will start on 27th September at 5 p.m. with a public panel entitled Brexit: Social, Political and Cultural Disintegration? featuring talks from Prof. John Clarke (Open University), Dr. Maria Sobolweska (University of Manchester) and Prof. Paul Taggart (University of Sussex, t.b.a.). On Thursday the event continues with panels on issues of populism, political extremism, migration, xenophobia and devolution.
