Citizen Developer Empowerment
The rise of no-code platforms and the democratization of technology have given rise to the citizen developer movement. This group of people has no formal coding training but can create powerful applications using intuitive visual tools that require little to no coding knowledge. At the forefront of this movement is Microsoft's Power Platform, which has become a leader in the no-code space, empowering businesses to create custom solutions that meet their specific needs.
Our company, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, is a diverse multinational organization in the international development sector, has embraced the Citizen Developer approach using Microsoft's Power Platform.
We have built a Citizen Developer Network, allowing our colleagues to create solutions that meet their unique requirements, without relying on IT or external consultancies. This approach has been a game-changer within GIZ, enabling us to innovate processes faster and drive digital transformation.
We will showcase how we have empowered our Citizen Developers using Microsoft's Power Platform and share best practices as well as tricks for building no-code solutions.
